 THE GIFT OF MAGI



Erika, she was one of the best players of basketball in her school team as well as college team. She always used to win trophies for her team and had a bright future ahead of her. Her family was also very supportive of her in this. She started playing basketball in 7th grade just as a sport but gradually when she saw her growing in this field, she became passionate about it. She fell in love with a boy in college whose name was John. He was a very good student of the college and was also a topper of the university. It was love at first sight for both of them, they both were so deeply in love with each other and was seeing a future together. When university ended, John got job in London and he had to go there and Erika went forward with her game. It was working all well until the time for their marriage came. John was working in London and Erika was supposed to move there but she knew that moving there means she has to leave her passion for basketball here. She was in a dilemma but she loved John more than anyone so she moved to London leaving her dream behind. When John got to know about this, he searched for a good basketball club for Erika and the best coaches so that she gets the best training.

When Erika got to know about this, she went to John and asked him why he did this, he could not have care less. John told Erika that if she can leave her dreams behind just to be with him, then he can also find way for Erika to move forward with her dream. They both hugged each other tightly and knew that both of them would do anything for each others happiness.

I  am not a dog person and i never liked dog and the main reason for that was my fear of dogs. i would always change my path if i saw a dog coming towards me and wo do anything and even hide behind a stranger to get rid of the dog. When i shifted to Banglore, most of the time i used to stay at my friends place and not in my pg and my friend was a dog lover. he loved dogs alots and he always used to feed the street dogs so whenever he used to come towards his house, all the dogs used to follow him. So whenever i used to go to his place the dogs used to follow me too and that terrified me to some next level so i always called my friend to come and take me so that i do not get attacked by a dog. BECHDEL- WALLACE TEST.

The Bechdal test is named named after the American cartoonist Alison Bechdal. The Bechdal test is also known as Bechdal-Wallace test. it as a measure of representation of women in fiction. It asks whether a work features at least two women who talks to each other about something other than men. The requirement that the two woman must be named is sometimes added.  The rules now known as the Bechdal test first appeared in 1985 in Alison Bechdel's comic strip Dykes to watch out for . In a strip titled "the rule" two woman, are seen discussing a film and one woman explains that she only goes to a movie if it satisfies the following requirements :-  1. The movie has to have at least two woman in it. 2. Who talks to each other. 3.
